Indie distributor Distribution360 has hired former DRG and Cineflix International exec Diane Rankin to a newly created post in London, England.

Rankin becomes SVP, international sales and acquisitions, overseeing sales of content from parent marblemedia and third party producers.

Rankin, most recently SVP acquisitions at DRG, and before that head of acquisitions at Cineflix International, will divide her time between London and Toronto as she reports to marblemedia managing partner Mark Bishop.

The distribution veteran has also worked at Playback parent co Brunico Communications, where she was VP & group publisher, kids entertainment & non-fiction divisions.

Rankin will be part of the Distribution360 and marblemedia presence at Realscreen Summit later this month.
