Blue Ant International has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to the Real to Reel Productions documentary Eccentrics (1 x 90 minutes, 1 x 52 minutes HD). The documentary from Oscar-winning director John Zaritsky follows the stories of people with eccentric lifestyles, including a man who lives in the caves of Utah and survives by harvesting wild foods.

IMAX and the Nordic Cinema Group have announced a deal open an IMAX theatre in Stockholm, marking the company’s first multiplex agreement in Scandinavia.

The IMAX theatre will be installed in the Mall of Scandinavia in Stockholm and it set to open in the fall of 2015.

“We have witnessed the growth and popularity of IMAX in Europe and believe the time is right to make IMAX a key part of our business strategy. As such, IMAX will serve as the anchor attraction at our new flagship complex in the Mall of Scandinavia, which will be host to the region’s biggest film premieres,” said Jan Bernhardsson, president and CEO of Nordic Cinema Group in a statement.
