Blue Ant Media inks distribution deal with Our House Media

Michael MacMillan’s Blue Ant Media‘s international distribution arm has signed its first content supply deal with indie producer Our House Media.

The output deal is with the digital media production shingle run by Simon Lloyd and Joe Houlihan, launched after they left Cineflix Productions last year.

Blue Ant Media’s launched its distribution division just before MIPTV, with former Si Entertainment and Tricon Films & Television exec Solange Attwood in charge as SVP international.

The division’s catalog of over 700 hours of programming includes series like Live Here Buy This, Rebel Without a Kitchen and Nomads of the Serengeti.

Blue Ant Media runs eight specialty channels, including Cottage Life, Travel+Escape, and Smithsonian Channel, alongside online YouTube channels and monthly tablet magazines.
