Ion Television has picked up the off-network rights to the Canadian cop drama Rookie Blue.

The syndication deal with the Disney/ABC Television Group will see the police procedural, which airs on ABC, syndicated on ION from fall 2014.

The fifth season of Rookie Blue will debut on ABC in June, after Global Television premieres the fifth season of the ICF Films and Entertainment One series on Monday, May 19.

Rookie Blue stars Missy Peregrym, Aliyah O’Brien, Gregory Smith, Travis Milne, Enuka Okuma, Melanie Nicholls-King and Adam MacDonald.

Tassie Cameron is the executive producer and showrunner.

Also executive producing the show is Russ Cochrane, Ilana Frank, David Wellington and John Morayniss.

eOne distributes the series internationally.
