• Tricon Films & Television has found homes worldwide for lifestyles series Marriage Under Construction, Ad Persuasion, Fresh With Anna Olson and Restaurant Makeover as well as documentaries Slut and Catfight. Marriage and Fresh land with The Home Channel in Africa and Canal+ Poland on top of a slew of Euro distrib deals that also carries Persuasion overseas. SBS Netherlands and Finland’s Nelonen also nabbed Marriage, with the latter also picking up Fresh, Slut and Catfight.

• Breakthrough Entertainment has sold its Jimmy Two Shoes series to Toon Disney. The Jetix programming block on the Disney channel has picked up the U.S. cable rights for the new 26 x 30 cartoon.

• Maple Pictures has acquired Canadian theatrical, TV and video rights for the documentary Jackie Mason: The Ultimate Jew by Toronto’s Barry Avrich. The doc premiered at the Toronto Jewish Film Festival in May.

• Cameron Thomson Group has inked a deal with High Fidelity HDTV to bring its Oasis HD nature channel to Europe.

• Cookie Jar will have a big batch of new players for its online role-playing game Magi-Nation: Battle for the Moonlands, following a deal with U.S.-based games provider WildTangent. The deal makes the game available to WildTangent’s 30 million-plus paying users.

• TVO and W Network have added new U.K. fare to their schedules, following deals with London-based Outright Distribution. TVO has acquired the lifestyle series Admission Impossible -¬ a 2 x 60 that follows parents and kids as they overcome obstacles to attend the schools of their choice – along with Mummy Diaries, Born to Be Different, My New Home and Child Genius. Corus Entertainment’s W, meanwhile, bought the property series Open House, which premiered July 10.
