Decode unveils iPhone game

Decode Interactive has unveiled its first game for the iPhone, putting Whack O Lantern for sale through Apple just in time for Halloween.

The game, a redo of old-style Whack a Mole carnival games, comes from Aussie illustrator and toy designer Nathan Jurevicius, creator of the Scarygirl line of toys and games. Decode and Jurevicius recently turned out a 90 x 15 series of shorts seen in the Toronto transit system.

The game runs on iPhones and iPod Touch devices. ‘We feel that this platform is one of the most promising game platforms in the marketplace today, and we look forward to continuing our tradition of creating quality game and entertainment experiences for family audiences with our new Apple partnership,’ said Decode SVP Anne Loi in a release. It retails for US$1.99.
