Women in Film and Television – Toronto held its annual reception during the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 10, 2013.
The gala toasted the contributions made by Canadian women to the Canadian and international screen industries, including WIFT-T Crystal Award winners Sarah Gadon and Catherine O’Hara. At TIFF this year, Gadon stars in Belle, while O’Hara appears in Jeremiah Chechik’s The Right Kind of Wrong, which received its world premiere at the festival.
Attendees were also treated to a MAC Picture Perfect pop-up lounge, a silent auction, the proceeds of which support the Foundation for Women in Film and Television – Toronto, and appetizers from local caterers.
