Cartoon and video game voice vet Michael Rudder is reportedly recovering in hospital after being shot three times during the attacks in Mumbai. Rudder — a Genie nominee for his work on the 1989 film Buying Time and a veteran voice performer — was shot Wednesday night when militants stormed one of the hotels in the Indian city, according to Canadian Press.
The Montreal actor is said to be in critical care following surgery. Also wounded was Helen Connolly of Toronto. Both were among some 24 people who went to India with a U.S.-based meditation group.
Rudder’s recent credits include voice work on the video games Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Far Cry: Instincts.
