Production and distribution executive Tony Wosk has joined Toronto-based Berkshire Axis Media as director of acquisitions and distribution.
It’s the latest hire as the indie production and distribution company continues to build its executive team.
“We are pleased to welcome Tony to BAM and look forward to leveraging his expertise in the years ahead. I know that Tony’s experience and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to grow the company,” said BAM CEO John Carbone in a statement.
The news follows the announcement last week that former Take 5 copro executive producer Fred Fuchs had shifted over to join BAM via a first-look producing deal.
Wosk previously worked as executive in charge of production, TV comedy at CBC before leaving in 2010 to run his indie, Middle Child Films. Prior to that, he worked with Telefilm Canada as senior feature film analyst and director of acquisitions and development for Christal Films.
