CineCoup on Monday unveiled its slate of 10 finalists in the 15-week film accelerator program.

CineCoup president of distribution and sales Brad Pelman will also travel to the Cannes International Film Festival this week to shop the top 10 films to sales agents and international buyers.

The filmmakers will continue to package and promote their projects in a bid to secure up to $1 million in production financing and a guaranteed release in Cineplex theatres.

The top five teams, to be announced June 3, will travel to the Banff World Media Festival to pitch their projects to a panel of industry experts on June 10. The top project will be announced following the intense pitch session.
