Stephen Greenberg, co-founder and partner of prodco and distributor Incendo, is stepping down, the Montreal-based company announced Friday.

With his departure partner and co-founder Jean Bureau becomes the company’s president and sole shareholder. Bureau is also the president of the Association of Film and Television Producers of Quebec.

“I will continue on as an industry consultant and provide my clients with the recognized expertise I have developed over the years. I wish Jean the very best and offer him my full support so he can ensure a great future for a company I helped build,” said Greenberg, in a statement.

“I would like to thank Stephen for his confidence and his invaluable cooperation. We worked hard together to ensure Incendo’s success for more than 12 years, and I’m taking this important step today on very solid foundations. I have every intention of continuing the work that has been started with an outstanding team and to further develop Incendo, both by diversifying its product portfolio and by increasing our presence on the international scene,” added Bureau.

Incendo was founded in 2001.
