Spring cleaning at HGTV

HGTV is adding four home reno series to its spring schedule.

The new schedule kicks off March 31 with 13 half-hours eps of HGTV’s Top 10, showcasing the work of top pros including designers such as Jamie Drake and architects like David Hertz. Each episode focuses on a different type of room, featuring examples of best decor and design plans.

Later that night, the premiere of Sarah’s Cottage has home design guru Sarah Richardson (Room Service, Design Inc.) tackling her own renovation at her summer getaway. The six half-hour eps feature different sides of Richardson’s personal style.

The premiere of the 6 x 30 Disaster DIY — Cottage Edition follows on April 2. Similar to the city-based series, hapless do-it-yourselfers are given a hand with their reno disasters — this time north of the city limits with help from host Bryan Baeumler (Disaster DIY) and crew.

Also launching April 2 is the 13 x 30 My Big Amazing Renovation, which looks at what happens when renos go to the extreme. The U.S. series follows different families as they take on the biggest renos of their lives.
