Shaftesbury has inked a deal with U.K. films sales company Goalpost Film to shop the TV rights to its library of theatrical releases at MIPTV 2013.

Titles to be offered to buyers include Michael Winterbottom’s comedic feature and BBC TV series The Trip, The Escapist, directed by Rupert Wyatt, and the Oscar winner Dances with Wolves directed by and starring Kevin Costner.

“Goalpost’s library of crowd-pleasing quality films, starring top-tier talent, provides wide-ranging appeal and flexibility for international buyers, who can program these titles across multiple networks, schedules and timeslots,” Shaftesbury senior vice president of sales and marketing Shane Kinnear said in a statement.

Other film titles looking for TV distribution include Closed for Winter, by James Bogle, Cherie Nowlan’s Clubland, and Head Above Water, by director Jim Wilson.
