The Banff World Media Festival is to pay tribute to Hollywood actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus in June.

The Seinfeld star is to receive the Variety TV Impact Award for her contribution to TV.

Louis-Dreyfus will accept the award at the annual Rockie Awards gala.

Her other TV credits include The New Adventures of Old Christine and Veep.

“Julia Louis-Dreyfus is synonymous with success, providing viewers with beloved characters in her iconic shows,” said Ferne Cohen, executive director of the Banff World Media Festival, in a statement.
