Former Entertainment One executive Frank Saperstein has pacted with Canadian animation producer Bardel Entertainment as an executive producer.

The non-exclusive partnership will see Los Angeles-based Saperstein and his company Surprise Bag collaborate on select proprietary animated projects, beyond Bardel’s service work.

Saperstein completed an earlier stint as senior vice president of family television at Entertainment One.

“Frank and I have been colleagues for many years and we are delighted to join with him and Surprise Bag to collaborate on bringing quality and innovative proprietary animated content to the worldwide market, as well as further expand our company’s creative animation services.” said Bardel president Barry Ward in a statement.
