Rachel Nichols and Victor Webster (pictured) are top-lining Continuum, a sci-fi drama from Reunion Pictures for Showcase.

The series, based on the Out of Time pilot directed by Jon Cassar (24, The Kennedys), is in production in Vancouver through May.

The drama portrays a policewoman from 2077, played by Nichols, who travels back in time and teams with a present day cop to track down escaped convicts from her future.

The policewoman lead receives unexpected assistance from a teen tech genius, played by Erik Knudson, and forms an uneasy alliance with her detective partner (Webster).

Continuum also stars Stephen Lobo, Roger Cross, Lexa Doig, Omari Newton and Terry Chen (Combat Hospital).

The Canadian drama was created by executive producer Simon Barry, with Jeff King as executive producer and showrunner.

Tom Rowe is also executive-producing.

Cassar and Patrick Williams are sharing in the directing duties.
