Entertainment One has pacted with Richard Branson’s Virgin Group on the TV side.

The Canadian producer has unveiled a first-look deal with Virgin Produced that offers the exclusive rights to the division’s scripted TV product in development.

The agreement was unveiled by Entertainment One TV topper John Morayniss and Virgin Produced CEO John Morayniss.

Virgin Produced signed a similar first-look deal with Comcast’s E! Entertainment Television for non-scripted development.

And the British partner has a joint venture with Relativity Media to produce movies together, all in a bid to feed Virgin’s growing global brand and media platforms, including airlines, mobile, radio and social media.

“With a number of high-profile projects already in active development, Virgin Produced has very quickly established itself within the creative community,” Entertainment One’s Morayniss said in a statement.
