The Union of British Columbia Performers (UBCP/ACTRA) has named Jeff Young as its new director of contracts.

Young comes to UBCP as a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the State Bar of California, with experience negotiating with major media and entertainment corporations for clients local and international.

His new position will see him negotiating and being the ongoing administrator of the British Columbia Master Production Agreement, the British Columbia Animation Agreement and the National Commercial Agreement, along with other collective agreements negotiated by UBCP.

“Jeff comes highly recommended and has a wealth of relevant experience that will help us move forward as an organization” said UBCP’s President, Alvin Sanders, in a statement.
