Syfy and Space have ordered a fourth season of Sanctuary, which shoots in Vancouver.

Another 13 episodes of the Canadian sci-fi drama from My Plastic Badger Productions and The Beedie Group is set to start production in spring 2011, with a schedule fall 2011 airdate on both broadcast networks.

Sanctuary was created and executive produced by Damian Kindler whose earlier credits included Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis.

The series is also executive produced by Amanda Tapping, Martin Wood, Andrea Gorfolova, Carrie Mudd and Keith Beedie.

Sanctuary, which is shot mainly on a green screen and exclusively with a Red camera, is produced in association with Tricon Films and Television.
