Citytv changes sked for mid-season

Strong on sitcoms and reality competition shows, Citytv is banking on new NBC dramas mid-season, including the newly-acquired series Harry’s Law (pictured), The Cape, and Body of Proof.

The Rogers Broadcasting network will complement its Thursday night NBC lineup mid-season by adding a simulcast of the freshman comedy Perfect Couples at 8:30 a.m., to complement a night that already has NBC’s Community, Parks and Recreation and 30 Rock.

But Citytv has also gone with Kathy Bates top-lining Harry’s Law from NBC and writer/producer David E. Kelley on Monday nights at 10 p.m.

And Dana Delany as a medical examiner investigating mysterious deaths in ABC’s Body of Proof will bow on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. in March.

And Citytv also picked up NBC’s The Cape for Sunday nights at 9 p.m., to be followed by Shaftesbury Films’ Murdoch Mysteries.

The new series for Citytv come on top of returning shows, many simulcast with NBC airdates, like The Bachelor, The Biggest Loser, Marriage Ref, Who Do You Think You Are? and Minute To Win It.
