CTV News at Noon weather specialist Anwar Knight is back at work Thursday after his battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Knight, who was diagnosed with the cancer in May, 2010, kept viewers up to date with his treatment and progress via his blog, Anwar’s Journey: The hodgepodge of an optimist. Observed Knight in a post Tuesday: “Yes, the doctors have given me the green light to get on with my life and head back to CTV. It will be a slow integration over the next few weeks, but I’m looking forward to it – and it feels great.”

Knight joined the CTV News Toronto team as weekend weather reporter in 2007, after serving at The New VR, The Weather Network, and Global Television. He moved to weather weekdays on CTV Toronto’s News at Noon in 2009.
