Keith Le Goy, chairman of Sony Pictures Television, has been announced as a keynote speaker for the Summit Series lineup at the 2025 Banff World Media Festival (BANFF).
Le Goy (pictured) is responsible for all television production operations as well as television and home entertainment distribution across the U.S., Latin America and Europe. Some of those productions include Prime Video’s The Boys, Netflix’s Cobra Kai, HBO’s The Last of Us, ABC’s Shark Tank, TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé and Netflix’s The Night Agent
Previously, he was chairman of worldwide distribution and networks for Sony Pictures Entertainment from April 2021 to January, when he assumed his current role. He first joined Sony Pictures in June 2016.
“Keith is a force of nature, a clear-headed growth driver, and a veteran of the storytelling game,” said Sean Cohan, BANFF board chair and Bell Media president, in a statement. “Known for a direct, positive approach, Keith’s keynote will offer insights into where our industry is headed and where the opportunities are.”
Tubi CEO Anjali Sud was also announced as a keynote speaker in January.
The BANFF Summit Series was launched in 2019. Previous speakers include Fox Entertainment CEO Rob Wade, Netflix’s chief content officer Bela Bajaria, Universal Animation Studios president Jeffrey Katzenberg, PBS CEO Paula Kerger and Warner Bros. Television Studios chairwoman Channing Dungey.
Additional programming for the 46th annual festival, which runs from June 8 to 11 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alta., will be announced over the coming months.
