As television viewership continues to fragment, CTV is making moves to keep those eyeballs glued to its programming whether they’re watching from television or laptop screens.

This week, the network annouced it is broadcasting almost all of its prime-time programming on CTV.ca the morning following each show’s broadcast on-air. CTV’s big week of premieres starts Sept. 20.

The network says 2009/2010 has been its best year ever for online video viewing, with web views up 55.5% over the 2008/2009 television viewing season. “Ratings” winners online last season included The Amazing Race, Grey’s Anatomy and Lost.

The fall shows will premiere online on a new 16:9 video player on the site, the morning following their broadcast debut. Prime-time episodes are available for three weeks online following the on-air broadcast, while daily programs will be available for one week.

CTV’s fall programming lineup includes the Tom Selleck-helmed Blue Bloods, the Twitter feed-inspired $#*! My Dad Says starring William Shatner and No Ordinary Family, starring Michael Chiklis, all of which are available online. A selection of A prime-time programming will also be available on CTV.ca, including Hellcats, Nikita and Mike and Molly.
