The KOTV distribution arm will present new dramas Double Fault and Fragments, among others.

M ontreal-based KOTV’s distribution arm has unveiled its sales slate for buyers at Series Mania this week.

KO Distribution will showcase two new series at the TV festival and forum in France: the drama Double Fault (8 x 60 minutes; KOTV), a limited series about the ups and down of a professional tennis player, and ensemble series Fragments (10 x 60 minutes; Amalga Créations Média), which follows a group of friends who reunite after decades apart.

The latter series was listed by Quebec funder SODEC as one of several French-language series to be presented at Series Mania, which runs from March 17 to 24.

KO Distribution will also present presales for season six of the Radio-Canada single-camera comedy Conversations with My Parents (A Media), now in production on the 13 x 30-minute season.

Rounding out the Series Mania sales slate are three short-form titles: Martine at the Beach (8 x 10 minutes; KOTV), about a teenage girl who falls in love after receiving her first pair of glasses; The Knights of the Light (KOTV), about two bored gamers who start to form a conspiracy theory; and Garbage (12 x 10 minutes; Koze Productions), which follows a single mother trying to escape a fictional trash-filled Montreal.

Crave and APTN lumi limited drama Little Bird will make its world premiere at Series Mania on Saturday (March 18). The series was selected for the International Panorama competition, alongside French-language Crave original Désobéir: Le choix de Chantale Daigle (Disobey), which will have its international premiere at the festival.
