The English-language version of KOTV's French-language anthology has also added new cast members and is set for a winter 2023 premiere.

Production is underway in Montreal on CBC’s English-language version of KOTV’s French-language anthology Plan B.

The 6 x 60-minute psychological drama series was commissioned by CBC for a winter 2023 premiere and is set to wrap production on Sept. 21. The English-language adaptation of the Radio-Canada series is produced by Montreal’s KOTV and created by Jean-Francois Asselin and Jacques Drolet, who were also behind the original, which is filming its fourth season.

Asselin and Drolet wrote the remake alongside Lynne Kamm. Asselin also serves as showrunner and executive producer, alongside Louis Morissette.

Directors on the CBC original production include Jean-François Asselin, Aisling Chin-Yee and Maxime Giroux.

Germany’s Red Arrow Studios International landed global distribution rights to the remake in June. The format has already been adapted and broadcast in France and Flemish Belgium.

The Montreal-set series stars stars Patrick J. Adams (Suits) as a lawyer who turns to time travel in order to save his relationship with the woman who left him, played by Karine Vanasse (Cardinal).

Newly announced cast members include François Arnaud (pictured left; Surface), Troian Bellisario (pictured middle; Pretty Little Liars) and Josh Close (pictured right; Fargo).

François Arnaud is repped by Lasher Group and APA; Josh Close by Buchwald, Impression Entertainment and Parent Management; and Troian Bellisario by Entertainment 360, Gersh and Paul Hastings.
