Oscar Night in Canada

The third annual Oscar Night in Canada to raise funds for Cinematheque Ontario drew a full-capacity crowd of 400 and raised approximately $100,000. The Toronto event has hit the six-figure mark for two years running.

Among the items sold in the silent auction were writing an article for the Toronto Sun, a bottle of 1970 Chateau Haut-Briand, a trip to Montreal for a Montreal Canadiens playoff game and recording time in a professional recording sound studio.
