Your Channel, now called Life Network, has a new management slate and board of directors. Juris Silkans is president, Janice Platt is vice-president of programming, Merv Stone is director of acquisitions, John Whish is director of operations, Todd Goldsbie is director of sales and Alexandra Brown is vice-president of communications. The board of directors for the Atlantis Communications-controlled specialty tv service is headed up by Doug Dales, and members include Michael MacMillan, Kevin Shea, Mona Stirling, Edward Riley and Denis Harvey.

Comfort Sound sold

Doug McClement has sold Comfort Sound Recording, a 24-track sound studio in Toronto, to Lee Sand, former operator of Toronto-based Ivory Keys Music Production,

According to Sand, Comfort’s business is currently about 65% film and commercial production and 35% in-house music production.

Integrating equipment from Ivory Keys, Comfort Sound is adding full 24-track digital recording to its repertoire of production and post-production services, which include 24-track analog recording, studio and post-production facilities, and creative assistance.
