Mustos heads

William Mustos, executive co-ordinator of the Ontario Film Investment Program at the Ontario Film Development Corporation, is leaving the ofdc to head up the new crtc Cable Program Fund. Mustos, who has been running ofip since 1991, steps into his new post Nov. 23. The cable fund production allocation, estimated at $300 million over five years, is funded by way of a levy to subscribers. The fund officially launches on Jan. 1, 1995.

Stein shifts to Shaw

Ken Stein is leaving his post as president and ceo of the Canadian Cable Television Association to join Shaw Communications as senior vice-president, corporate development and regulatory affairs. Although a date for Stein’s departure has not been announced, the ccta has begun a search for a new president.

Cameron steps

in at MCIDO

Karen Cameron has been named film officer at the Manitoba Cultural Industries Development Office, effective Dec. 5. Cameron replaces Andrew Koster, who left the post to join Winnipeg-based Credo Group as production executive.
