Production has started in Toronto on Lady Ada’s Secret Society, a comedy about four girls who pull pranks on their hyper-traditional boarding school where computers and smartphones are banned.

Written and created by Shannon Fewster and directed by Samantha Wan (Second Jen), the nine-episode series will be released as a digital original on the marbleKids YouTube channel and aims to provide comedic role models to girls interested in STEM.

Winner of the Cayle Chernin Media Production Award, Lady Ada’s Secret Society was selected as one of five live-action pitches at MIPCOM 2018 and is funded by Ontario Creates and the Shaw Rocket Fund.

Lady Ada’s Secret Society is produced by Shannon Fewster, Joshua Demers and Andrew Hunter, and executive produced by Davin Lengyel.
