Vancouver-based television and streaming service OUTtv has launched on YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels in the U.S.
Beginning this week, YouTube subscribers can access OUTtv’s catalogue of series and films for US$5.99 monthly.
YouTube TV is a streaming service offering live and on-demand TV from more than 100 channels. It has more than eight million subscribers, while Primetime Channels lets viewers subscribe and watch content from their favourite streaming services directly on the YouTube app, with more than 45 channels available.
“The U.S. is a key market for us with a growing audience of OUTtv fans, and YouTube’s powerful reach allows us to connect with millions of viewers who are seeking diverse, high-quality LGBTQ+ content,” said Brad Danks, OUTtv CEO, in a statement.
In March, OUTtv was made available in Taiwan as a linear channel via a partnership with Chungwha Telecom.
