Greg Sheppard directed two days of Colgate Total for Young and Rubicam. George Willis was behind the camera and Gerry Banning of Partners’ will be editing.

Director/dop Larry Hutson shot five days for McDonald’s through Cossette Communication-Marketing, with Panic & Bob’s Brian Williams editing.

Hutson stayed busy with a two-day shoot for Tropicana through Weis Advertising. Post will take place in the u.s.

Director/dop Miroslaw Baszak shot two days for P.C. Insider’s Report out of Durnan Communications. Chris Brook at Partners’ edited.

Kari Skogland picked up two days of Oh Henry out of Bozell Palmer Bonner. James Gardner was on camera, with Partners’ Mark Hajek editing.

L.T.B. Productions director Steve Bruni is shooting a spot for Kraft Canada through Leo Burnett. Andy Ames of Panic & Bob will handle the edit and cgi special effects will be done at Spin Productions.

At Kessler Irish Films, Dale Heslip picked up two days for Kellogg’s Eggo Waffles through Leo Burnett. Cinematographer was Andre Pienaar and the edit was handled by axyz.

Wade Ferley shot six days for Manitoba Telephone Systems through Palmer Jarvis, Winnipeg, with Paul Goldsmith doing dop honors. Third Floor Editing’s Brant Lambermont will be handling post.

Director Jon Kane picked three days for Labatt Breweries’ Blue Light brand through Ammirati Puris Lintas. Paul Goldsmith was the dop and Partners’ Hajek edited.

Through BBDO Toronto, Dale Heslip shot two days in Vancouver for Kraft Canada Post Honeycomb cereal with cinematographer Simon Mestel. axyz is handling the edit.

Also out of Kessler Irish, director/dop Ron Baxter Smith shot two days for Fruit of the Loom underwear through Leo Burnett, with Alex Eaton of Third Floor handling post.

Over at The Players Film Company, director Henry Less directed and shot five days for GM Trans Sport through Cossette, Montreal. Norm Odell of Flashcut edited.

At Circle Productions, director Robert Turner and dop Ron Williams shot one day for Chartered Accountants out of Palmer Jarvis, Vancouver, with Coast Mountain editing.

Also at Circle, Philip Spink picked up two days for Blockbuster through Bernstein Rein, Kansas City. John Houtman was the dop and Take 2 Productions in Kansas City will be handling the edit.

Zoo director Peter Lynch just returned from Newfoundland where he and dop Rudolph Balahchek shot one day for Molson through MacLaren McCann. Post is being handled by Chameleon.

At The Directors Film Company, director George Simhoni and dop Pienaar shot two days for Loblaw’s President’s Choice through Durnan Communications. axyz’s Bruce Copeman edited.

Robert Quartly shot two days for Cara Operations’ Swiss Chalet through Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll. George Willis was behind the camera and Tim Kirkwood of Flashcut edited.

At Maxx Productions, director Dan Hackett is shooting a spot with dop Gabor Tarko for Procter & Gamble’s Metamucil through Grey Canada. Post will be handled by Lambermont at Third Floor.

Over at Louder Music, with a mission to execute a Batmanesque score, David Krystal simulated a 60-piece orchestra for Leo Burnett’s Pop-Tarts creative with just a few live players accomplice to the cyberensemble. Where do they get those fabulous toys? Krystal is also making music for Mastercard out of Communique, and is harmoniously abetting Carnival Cruise chart its new spot direction at the behest of HMS McFarland out of Miami.

Doing his bit for the great Canadian summer pastime, over at Rosnick MacKinnon, Ted Rosnick is embroiled in the sound of beer music. Rosnick just finished off a three-spot job for Molson Ex, with a large orchestra on all the tracks for the new campaign out of MacLaren McCann, and is about to do two Budweiser spots for Bozell Palmer Bonner. Brewing tunes for the Moosehead campaign ­ a six-pack for Moosehead and three for Moosehead Dry ­ is accompanied by some non-alcoholic TD Bank work, seven Zoo spots and a three-spot campaign for Petro-Canada ­ all for Chiat/Day. And on a completely different liquid note, Rosnick is about to do three Campbell Soup spots for bbdo.

In other beer news out of the shop, Steve MacKinnon is working on Labatt Blue, four spots for Ammirati.
