Hot on the heels of Island of Bryan‘s HGTV U.S. deal, marblemedia’s distribution arm Distribution360 (D360) has sold a season of Bryan Inc. (13 x 60 minutes) to the American home improvement network.
Debuting as Renovation Inc. – similar to Island of Bryan‘s name change to Renovation Island – the Si Entertainment show for HGTV Canada is set to launch on HGTV U.S. later this month.
Following the Canadian TV host and renovation guru as his spouse Sarah joins his construction company, Bryan Inc. (pictured) sees the two work together to buy, renovate and sell properties, while helping clients create their dream homes. D360 SVP, rights/executive producer Diane Rankin negotiated the deal.
The London and Toronto-based distributor has also expanded the contractor’s empire through new sales to international broadcasters.
D360 has sold two seasons of Bryan Inc. (26 x 60 minutes), three seasons of House of Bryan (50 x 30 minutes) and six seasons of Leave it to Bryan (130 x 30 minutes) to Israel’s Imagine Media. As well, the distributor has struck license deals for multiple seasons of Leave it to Bryan with Turkey’s Medya Film (39 x 30 minutes) and Russia’s AG Rubin Group (65 x 30 minutes), with Bosnia’s KIP International acquiring all six seasons of the show (130 x 30 minutes). Both House of Bryan and Leave it to Bryan are produced by Si Entertainment for HGTV Canada. D360 director of sales Smiljka Baljozovic signed these agreements.
House of Bryan offers a behind-the-scenes look into the life of the contractor as he takes on various projects such as transforming a 50-year-old bungalow and building his family’s dream vacation home. Meanwhile, Leave it to Bryan sees the expert work with homeowners who have three renovation projects on their mind, separating what they want from what they really need.
“Bryan is one of Canada’s best-loved and most recognizable personalities, and we are delighted to play a part in exporting his infectious enthusiasm, brilliant advice and delightful family to the U.S., as well as to numerous international territories. With the American pick-up of Bryan Inc. and these new multi-season deals in Israel, Russia and Bosnia, our series featuring Bryan and the Baeumler family continue to prove themselves entertaining and addictive viewing around the world,” said D360’s Rankin in a statement.
In May, it was announced that the first season of Island of Bryan would premiere in June on HGTV U.S., marking the show’s first sale in the U.S. and the first Corus Studios sale of a Bryan Baeumler series to the network. Baeumler was Playback‘s Lifestyle Personality of the Year in 2019.
