The Emotion Pictures/Galafilm/ Triptych Media coproduction of director/writer Thom Fitzgerald’s The Hanging Garden is being given a wide release in Canada by Cineplex Odeon Films following awards at the Toronto and Atlantic film festivals.

The film will unspool in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver and Halifax beginning Nov. 7, and in Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, London, St. Catharines, Hamilton, Waterloo, Fredericton, Moncton and St. John’s on Nov. 14.

Coinciding with its theatrical launch, Virgin Music Canada will release The Hanging Garden soundtrack on Nov. 4. The disc features such artists as The Rankin Family, Ani DiFranco, Holly Cole and Jane Siberry.
