Montreal: Television Quatre Saisons president Rene Guimond has announced the network is moving to 614 and 612, rue St-Jacques West, the location of majority shareholder (70%) Quebecor’s head office.

A new street-level studio will be built at the corner of St-Jacques and McGill Streets, but tqs will continue to use both studio and control facilities at its current 405 Ogilvy Avenue address. The network says a 30% reduction in space utilization will result in significant savings.

The official opening date for the St-Jacques studio and offices, including the tqs newsroom, is Aug. 30.
