Australia’s ABC TV, Playhouse Disney and Nickelodeon have picked up a number of Nelvana series.

ABC’s new kid-targeted digital and online channel ABC3 will soon air Spliced!, new episodes of 6teen and has also renewed Class of the Titans and Jane and the Dragon.

Classic Nelvana series, including 65 episodes each of Babar and Franklin, will find a home at ABC2 this fall, while the new CGI Babar is headed Down Under in 2010 as part of the deal. Meanwhile, Playhouse Disney has picked up Willa’s Wild Life for 2011, and Nickelodeon has renewed Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch series and specials.
