Toronto-based Our House Media (OHM) has appointed Vibika Bianchi as SVP of current programs and development, as well as making a pair of exec-level promotions.

Bianchi (pictured) will manage the strategic growth of OHM’s production and development slates and overall business, alongside Samantha De France, who has been upped to COO, and Tom Adams, who has been promoted to the newly created position of VP of content.

Bianchi is a veteran leader and TV exec in Canada’s media industry. She was at Corus for eight years as an original programming executive before leaving that role for an SVP post at factual producer Force Four. When that prodco, in turn, was acquired by eOne,  she was appointed SVP of unscripted content at the studio and remained in that post for almost four years. Her past credits include Chuck & Danny’s Road Trip, Back in Time for Dinner, Property Brothers, Love It or List It, Undercover Boss and the Olympic-adjacent docuseries Tessa & Scott.

Currently, she is acting chair at AfterMetoo, the non-profit organization innovating to address workplace sexual misconduct within the entertainment industry. (Read Ms. Bianchi’s Op-Ed on the subject in Playback‘s Winter issue.)

De France, meanwhile, oversees all aspects of OHM’s operations as COO, including business affairs, legal, finance and human resources.

Adams is responsible for providing creative guidance and oversight on Canadian-based productions in his new role, as well as contributing to OHM’s development slate.

Elsewhere, OHM president Joe Houlihan has added oversight of the recently launched OHM U.K. office to his portfolio.

Bianchi will report to OHM CEO Simon Lloyd, Houlihan and De France. De France will report to Lloyd. Adams will report to Lloyd, Houilhan and Bianchi. Bianchi’s appointment and the promotions are effective immediately.
