TVO has launched a new live-action preschool series, Are You Ready?, produced by Ottawa prodco GAPC Entertainment. 

The series, which shows kids how real-life role models carry out everyday tasks such as combing their hair and brushing their teeth, debuts today (July 30) on TVOKids and will premiere on Knowledge Kids in B.C. on Sept. 3. Aimed at preschoolers aged between two and five years old, the show will air on TVO on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:25 a.m.

Produced by GAPC in association with TVO and Knowledge, the CMF-backed project was shot in Ottawa in fall 2017. GAPC’s executive producer Hoda Elatawi serves as producer on the project.

The prodco’s previous credits include the educational digital series mathXplosion (50 x 3 minutes), which launched on tvokids.com and tfo.org in 2016, and is hosted by Eric Leclerc.
