CBC cancels The Goods

The talk show will not return for a third season, the pubcaster has confirmed.

CBC has confirmed that its talk show The Goods will not return for a third season.

The pubcaster first greenlit the daytime series as part of its 2016 Upfront. Hosted by Andrea Bain, Shahir Massoud, Jessi Cruickshank and Steven Sabados, The Goods premiered in fall of 2016. 

Filmed in front of a live audience at CBC’s production headquarters in Toronto, the series’ final episode will air on May 10.

Each of the show’s hosts served as experts in different area: Sabados (home and design), Cruickshank (style and fashion), Massoud (food) and Bain (relationships and wellness).

According to Numeris, the current season has drawn an average of 66,000 viewers (2+), while season one drew 62,000 (2+).
