The Canadian film and TV industry gathered at Prime Time in Ottawa from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 to discuss the biggest issues in the biz. CMPA president and CEO Reynolds Mastin kicked off the conference with a call for industry collaboration ahead of the Broadcasting Act review. Meanwhile, Canada’s Heritage Minister Melanie Joly addressed the confusion around Creative Canada and Netflix exec Elizabeth Bradley sat down with Halfire’s Noreen Halpern to discuss how Canadian producers should pitch the platform.
