The Canadian Film Centre has added four new members to its board of directors, effective immediately. Eric Belcher, president and CEO of Cast & Crew Entertainment Services; Paul Bronfman, chair and CEO of Comweb Corp and William F. White International; Don Carmody, president of Don Carmody Productions (pictured); and Patrick Cardarelli, senior director, Recovery & Resolution Planning at RBC, have all joined the 39-member board.

WIFT-T introduces new mentorship
Women In Film & Television – Toronto has added a new mentorship opportunity for members. Its 2016 membership survey identified mentoring as a top need for both emerging and experienced members. WIFT Connect aims to pair members of different experience levels through focused one-on-one meet ups over a six month period. Applications for the program will be accepted until Oct. 6, with matches confirmed by Oct. 23 and a mandatory kickoff workshop taking place on Nov. 8.

OUTtvGo app launches on Apple TV 
The OUTtvGo app has launched on Apple TV in Canada. The app features a collection of OUTtv programming, including RuPaul’s Drag Race, Neighbours, Kinky Boots, and Drag Becomes Him. The app, which costs $3.99 per month, is also available on Roku and Android devices. OUTtv, which is based in Vancouver, is Canada’s national LGBTQ TV network.
