A new multi-year deal between Incendo and Shine International will see the Montreal-based distributor rep sales for Shine content in Canada.
Incendo’s Stephen Greenberg and Jean Bureau brokered the deal, revealed on Tuesday, with Shine president Chris Grant and EVP John Pollak.
‘We feel [Shine] is emerging as the most important up and coming supplier not only in Canada but around the world,’ said Greenberg and Bureau in a joint statement. ‘The addition of Shine International’s impressive catalogue will certainly fulfill the needs of the broadcasters in Canada.’
Shine’s catalogue includes English- and French-language programs, and titles such as Masterchef, Losing It with Jillian and Secrets of Aspen.
Incendo made headlines last week upon word of its pact with Zone3 to produce English-language programs.
