TFO partners with PBS

The media co broadens its reach with a deal to distribute its French-language educational programming to teachers across the U.S.

shutterstock_handshake_tvGroupe Média TFO has struck a deal with PBS LearningMedia to distribute its French-language educational programming to educators in the U.S.

Beginning next spring, the more than 1,000 French educational short-form programs produced by TFO in its Toronto studios will be made available through PBS LearningMedia’s World Language platforms. PBS LearningMedia is an on-demand service that offers educators and students digital learning experiences.

According to PBS LearningMedia, the service is used by more than 1.8 million people across the U.S.

The TFO programming that will be available on the PBS LearningMedia platform is aimed at children ages two to 12.

In April of this year, TFO signed an 18-month deal with Louisiana Public Broadcasting to air 14 hours of weekly content aimed at children ages two to eight.
