* Catherine Donohue is the new VP of distribution and sales operations for Cookie Jar Entertainment, coming over from CBC, where she was in charge of children’s and youth programming.
* Mike Nesbitt is now SunTV’s GM of operations. Nesbitt was the first employee of the station’s former identity, Toronto 1, as director of technical operations.
* Ian Arnold is set to join Christopher Banks and Associates as a partner on Nov. 1. He comes to the talent agency from a production manager post at the Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People.
* David Partridge has departed from Motion Picture Distribution LP, where he was VP of home entertainment. In his 10 years with Alliance Atlantis Communications, which half-owns MPD, Partridge oversaw the home-video releases of titles including the Austin Powers trilogy and The Lord of the Rings.
