* Picture Box Distribution has sold the lifestyle series Kitchen Crimes to HGTV in the U.S. and to Discovery Asia.

* Seville International has sold Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey to Pretty Pictures in France and Inedit Producciones in Spain, and closed video deals for both Wilby Wonderful and Ice Men with We & Co.

* Distribs Program Partners and Thunderbird Films have picked up the worldwide rights to the new Chris Haddock series Intelligence.

* Fremantle Distribution International has sold Falcon Beach to the BBC, following other deals with Australia’s ABC, RTE in Ireland, SBS in Belgium and to other territories including Malaysia, the Philippines, Turkey and Israel.

* Teletoon has bought the Adult Swim lineup from the Cartoon Network, and will roll out 18-34-aimed toons including Robot Chicken, Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Squidbillies this fall. The channel has ordered a second season (26 x 30) of the Delilah & Julius toon from Decode Entertainment.

* ThinkFilm has bought the North American rights to the racy feature Shortbus, by John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) and starring CBC’s Sook-Yin Lee.

* kaBOOM! Entertainment has signed a deal with Radical Sheep Productions and Amity Entertainment to handle DVDs of The Big Comfy Couch in Canada. Following a separate deal, kaBOOM! also has the Canadian rights to the golf comedy Foursome.

* The U.S. specialty G4 has picked up Ed the Sock’s Night Party from CHUM Television.

* Delphis Films of Montreal has signed to distribute the Russian feature The Italian, as well as The Horror Bus and Bonkers, both from Holland.
