With all due respect… no screw it, I note with Bolshevik rage that in last issue’s Hot, Not &… section you make reference to Jay Baruchel as an Ottawa native, as opposed to ferociously loyal Montreal (in fact, NDG) resident, which is one thing – but to then refer to three films he has coming out this spring or summer, all American, and NOT mention the fourth, the most important, and the only Canadian film, might be thought of in some cultures as borderline heresy.

From this side of the curtain, however, we think that in ignoring The Trotsky, which opens across Canada May 14, your actions smack of an all too familiar running dog lackey revisionism that we have all come to recognize as the last dying breath of the capitalist, imperialist press and their peons, the colonial pravdas better known here by their code name, Playback.

Trotsky is hot, Playback is nyet.
