Angel Entertainment’s Bob Crowe and First Love Films’ Andrew Nicholas McCann Smith are among the Canadian producers selected to participate in the sixth edition of the Producers Lab Toronto program, it was announced Monday.

A total of 24 producers will take part in the program, which is organized and financed by European Film Promotion, in collaboration with the Ontario Media Development Corporation and the Toronto International Film Festival. Ten of the selected producers are Canadians, with the remainder hailing from Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The program, which runs from Sept. 9 to Sept. 12, sees the producers participate in various pitching and networking events, case studies and roundtables with industry representatives.

Along with Crow and McCann Smith, other Canadian producers selected for the 2015 edition of the Toronto Producers Lab are Simone Urdl of The Film Farm, Chantelle Kadyschuk of No Trace Camping Productions, Kaleena Kiff of Radius Squared Media Group, Jane Loughman of Monkeys and Parrots, Marie-Claude Poulin of Item 7, Julia Rosenberg of January Films, Barbara Willis Sweete of Willis Sweete Productions and Arnie Zipursky of CCI Entertainment.
