Licensing firm m4e has acquired the German-language rights — covering new media, music, merchandising and publishing — for the cartoon Storm Hawks by Vancouver-based Nerd Corps.

The 52 x 30 action-adventure comedy is currently in production, and tells the story of young warriors battling an evil empire. Nerd Corps already has fall 2007 broadcast deals with Cartoon Network and France 3, along with a master toy pact with Toronto-based Spin Master. The German outfit also picked up the same rights for the similarly boy-centric Huntik, an Irish-made 26 x 30 slated for delivery in 2008.
