Xavier Dolan’s Juste la fin du monde and Production 10e Avenue’s Mission Yeti were among the project selected to receive financing via the Quebecor Fund’s Event and Film Production Assistance program.
In total, the fund distributed $775,000 across three films and one event. The stream aims to support the production of Canadian French-language features and television coverage of events with French-language Canadian content. The stream also supports the marketing and promotion of French-language features and television events across multiple platforms.
Films that received financing were Aetios Productions’ Votez Boudon, Sons of Manual and MK2’s Juste la fin du monde and Productions 10e Avenue’s Mission Yeti. Remstar Films and Aetios Distribution is handling the distribution of Votez Boudon, while Les Films Seville is the distributor attached to Juste la fin du monde and Mission Yeti.
Dummondville le Show, the opening show of Drummondville’s 200th anniversary celebration, was selected to receive financing on the event side. Productions PR3 Médias 2015 is the television and event producer attached to the project.
