Filming on the 18-episode fourth season of CTV’s Saving Hope is set to begin June 1, with Kim Shaw (The Good Wife) and Max Bennett (Anna Karenina) joining the cast of the medical drama.

News of the renewal of the fourth season came in November, about two months after it was announced Saving Hope had found a U.S. home on ION. With that deal, ION picked up rights to seasons one and two of the Saving Hope along with rights to all future seasons, and co-commissioned the production of season three. ION is the exclusive U.S. broadcaster of the series.

Season four also marks the first time Trish Williams will serve as co-executive producer on Saving Hope. Previous to joining the series Williams was the director of Bell Media’s indie production unit, which is now headed up by Tom Hastings.

Saving Hope, produced by Entertainment One and ICF Films in association with CTV, stars Erica Durance and Michael Shanks. Executive producers are Illana Frank, John Morayniss and Margaret O’Brien for eOne. Adam Pettle serves as showrunner and exec producer.

Production on the series, which will be shot in Toronto, is scheduled to wrap by December 2015.
