• Teletoon has ordered a fourth season (13 x 30) of Carl Squared from Portfolio Entertainment.

• PBS and Vancouver’s Studio B Productions have agreed to coproduce Martha Speaks, a 40 x 30 animated series based on the books by Susan Meddaugh, slated to air in fall 2008.

• Nelvana Enterprises has closed more than a dozen deals for Grossology, selling the animated series (26 x 30) to casters including ABC in Australia, BVI in Latin America and channels in Europe, South Africa and Asia. The series currently airs on YTV, Discovery Kids in the U.S. and TF1 in France.

• Family Channel has ordered a second season (26 x 30) of the tween comedy The Latest Buzz from Decode Entertainment and its parent DHX Media. Decode, meanwhile, has sold season one of Buzz plus Urban Vermin (26 x 30) and Naturally Sadie (13 x 30) to Voom HD Networks.
